Strength is Found
02:30
|
|||
Strength is found
In the hearts of the weak
We can stand and fight
Though we need
Jesus has done it
It is our call
As lights to the world
We are free from stone
Though it be among us
That darkness reigns
We stand and fight it
In Jesus’ name
Christ has finished this
It is our hope
All our praise to him now
And we stand
Breath of life
The gift of love
The One who gave
Has saved us now
The love of God
It is our song
As not of this world
We have overcome
Though it be among us
That darkness reigns
We stand and fight it
In Jesus’ name
Christ has finished this
Is our hope
Brilliant light God’s Son!

Broken Pillars of Stone
04:23
|
|||
Broken pillars of stone,
and wand’rin through this mist,
I’m looking on this journey,
For what I know best,
Callin’ in the infinite, dark, it seems
I’m alone with my thoughts,
And what I’ve dreamed.
Oh-oh-O, Oh-oh, Oh-oh, O.
Poetry without rhythm
Is spoken possibility
Givin’ me hope to survive,
I’ve gotta feel this wonder
Inside my bones
If I’m gonna free my friends
From the heart of stone.
Oh-oh-O, some light, We-all-need-some light-ight.
Free us, free us,
Free us from the night,
Free us, free us,
Free us from the strife!!
A crack in the door,
Torchlight is best
Hid’n from an empire
Who does arrest
Hid’n in the shadows
Breaking down walls
No more safety in numbers
We’ve gotta flee alone!
What have we got ourselves into?
What are we fighting for?
Speaking all these words?
What’ve we got in store?
Distances broken,
The fear begins to rise
A scream is building in our chest
Can we survive?
Light, light!
We all need some light!
Light, light!
We all need some light-igh-ite!
Stone, Stone,
Break, break, break!
Stone, Stone
Break, break, break!
Stone, Stone
Free us!
Stone, Stone
Free us from!
Stone, Stone
Break the chains!
Stone, Stone
Lift your head!
Light, light!
We all need some light!
Light!

No Darkness Tonight
03:46
|
|||
It was one night out in Bethlehem,
Where shepherds set to rest
It was one night out with the men
Doing what shepherds do best.
Some were on watch that night
Glancing at the sky
One waits up on watch’s sight
Pondering on high.
“No predators tonight,
But I see glory in the skies
No predators tonight
But there’s something bringing new Life.”
The shepherds trembled seeing the sight
The night it seemed was dawn
Fear as they looked up on high
But comfort was the angelic song.
The skies burst alight with holy fervor,
A host of God’s angels singing
A huge and expansive chorus
That had good tidings bringing.
“No darkness tonight
Do not be terrified
No darkness tonight,
For the King is born, the Messiah.”
“Where?” They asked “Do see this thing?
Where did this come from? What do we see?
That seems to be miraculous happenings
That from darkness we are freed?”
The angel in the host proclaimed
“You see a sign: A baby born, wrapped in cloth
Within a in a manger laid.”
Then the host a great song wrought:
“All glory tonight,
To God, in the highest heaven
All glory tonight,
And on earth, peace is given.”
The shepherds took heart
And they stood amazed,
“Let go see this child that’s been born
To free the day.”
The shepherds went to find the King
Who had been born,
Their excitement they proclaimed
For there was hope forevermore!
“All hope tonight
For our King is here,
All hope tonight
For now, we have nothing to fear.”

Come Away
02:33
|
|||
There’s a song we want to sing,
A song within our hearts,
A song that’s distant now,
But light will come to start.
There’s a joy we long to know
A hope we long to see,
A song we long to sing,
A King we long to see.
Come away and see the light,
Come away, and see the fire
Sing along with me in this life
As we walk the miles.
Come away and sail the seas
Adventure lies beyond
Come away, and feel the breeze
And hear the song.
There’s a song we long to sing,
A song within our hearts,
A rhythm we long to feel
As this journey starts.
Tell a story, long and true,
And callin’ in the West
And come along and see
The journey we know best!
Come away and see the stars!
Come away and feel the heart!
There is One who longs to sing with us
The Mercies of the King.
There’s a song we long to hear,
In this atmosphere,
A joy we long to know,
A hope forevermore!
